Form of Government
Mayor – Council, Charter Form Office Facilities – City Municipal Building completed in 1940 – Updated to ADA Standards 1993. Valuation $5,000,000.00. In 1960 the City purchased the adjacent business building which now serves as an annex to the City Hall. Purchase price $60,000.00. These buildings house all municipal offices plus the Fire and Police Departments. The city also operates a #2 Fire Station located at North Washington St. and Second Ave.
