Tiffin City Council to have virtual meeting

Meeting open to the public via Zoom, Facebook

TIFFIN, OHIO – Nov. 12, 2020 –Tiffin City Council is to hold a regular meeting at 7 p.m. on Monday, Nov. 16, 2020, via the Zoom platform and on Facebook.

To maintain maximum accessibility, the meeting will be recorded, archived and streamed live at the City of Tiffin Government Facebook page. Residents also can join the meeting on Zoom by computer or mobile device at the following link: https://zoom.us/j/96449998232


A committee of the whole meeting will precede council beginning at 6:00 p.m. and can be viewed at the same link.

Residents can download the Zoom meeting app for free at https://zoom.us/download and join with ID 964 4999 8232. In addition, those who would prefer to call in and listen to the audio of the meeting while it’s occurring, can dial (312) 626-6799 and use the same ID as above.

Residents may address city council during the public comment section of the meeting. Those wishing to speak should click the “raise hand” option in Zoom to let it be known they wish to make a statement. Public comments are asked to be kept to five minutes or less and should be addressed to the council president.

Tiffin City Council has adapted this format under the provisions of Ohio House Bill 197, as amended, in response to the COVID-19 pandemic. This ensures the public can participate at hearings and observe and hear the discussions and deliberations of all of the members of Tiffin City Council.

The meeting also will be archived and saved on the City of Tiffin’s website, www.tiffinohio.gov.
