Site includes improved look, functionality

TIFFIN, Ohio – August 30, 2022 – Today, the City of Tiffin has announced that its new website is now live at www.tiffinohio.gov (same URL as before). Updates also have been made to the Tiffin Parks and Recreation website at www.tiffinparks.com (same URL as before).

As well as updates to the look and functionality of the site, the new site offers improved search capabilities, calendar system and forms for residents to send comments. Recent updates to the site, including online bill pay and e-file for taxes will be supported, and the site will continue to be a hub for news and announcements for the City of Tiffin, as well as a source of information on the services offered through the city’s various departments.

Mayor Dawn Iannantuono said, “We’re excited to give the public the opportunity to see our new website and try out the improved features. Our hope is that this new site will be a service that the community will come to rely on and will change with us as Tiffin continues to grow in a positive direction.”

In September of 2021, it was announced that the City of Tiffin would be coordinating with Seneca County, Tiffin-Seneca Economic Partnership and the Seneca County Sheriff’s Office to seek companies for a new, updated web presence for each organization. Following that request for proposals, the City of Tiffin; TSEP, including the Downtown Tiffin Main Street organization; and the Seneca County Sheriff contracted with TRIAD, based in Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio.

“We could not be more excited to work with the City of Tiffin on their website,” said Nicholas Peters, Vice President of Web and Digital at TRIAD. “This new site provides Tiffin residents with modern web features to help them communicate more easily with their city officials.”

In 2016, the City of Tiffin, Seneca County, Tiffin-Seneca Economic Partnership, Seneca Regional Chamber of Commerce Tiffin-Seneca Economic Partnership and Seneca Regional Planning embarked on a unique 18-month community branding initiative, which is used across all of those entities today.
