TIFFIN, OHIO – April 19, 2023 – The City of Tiffin Shade Tree and
Beautification Commission will be celebrating Arbor Day on April 28, 2023,
with a Mayoral Proclamation and ceremonial tree planting.
The public is invited to join members of the Shade Tree Commission and
students from Noble Elementary at the Benner Street Trail, located at Benner
St. at Adams St. beginning at 1:30 P.M. Guests will be greeted with opening
remarks by Chair of the Shade Tree and Beautification Commission, Michael
Pinkston, an Arbor Day Proclamation by Mayor Dawn M. Iannantuono, and
planting ceremony by Jon Potteiger and Bryce Kuhn.
In May, the City of Tiffin will be recognized for the 42nd year as a Tree City
USA, which will be celebrated at the 2023 Northwest Ohio awards ceremony
in Wauseon.
