Autopsy to be conducted
TIFFIN, Ohio – Dec. 12, 2022 – At 9:13 a.m. Monday, Dec. 12, Tiffin Police Department was notified of an unresponsive male that has been found on or around the bike path near Hopewell Avenue. Officers responded and located a juvenile male who was found to be deceased.
Police believe the juvenile has been positively identified, but the name is being withheld pending an autopsy to be conducted and identification by the juvenile’s parents.
The family of the deceased has been notified and is cooperating fully with the investigation. The juvenile’s school has also been notified.
At this time, all evidence gathered suggests the incident was not a homicide.
The investigation is ongoing.
